Ray Gardner

"As long as I can remember, I've been writing songs. I can recall when I was three or four years old making up little melodies often influenced by the music of the day, Animals, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, etc. Today, my influences in music are vast; from bluegrass to hip hop. I like to be creative and utilize the difficult styles as the moods hit me. I have no real formal musical training and I can't read music, but I've been playing guitar since i was five and drums since I was eight. I have probably written some three hundred songs in my life and continue to do so at a pace of one a week. Currently, I live in Delavan, Wisconsin with my wife and daughter, Emily."
